Integrated Amplifiers

A preamplifier/amplifier combination, usually for two-channel stereo. The preamp provides input switching and phonograph equalization, and the amplifier amplifies the signals before they reach the speakers. Although they may choose to utilize a separate preamp and amplifier, audiophiles use integrated amplifiers to listen to music. No matter how big or tiny, every standalone music system with a CD player and speakers also includes an integrated amplifier.
