Receivers
A receiver is an electronic device that manages and powers your home theater system. The receiver is unquestionably the center of a home theater system. It receives audio and visual signals from different sources and sends them to the appropriate outputs. As an illustration, the AVR transmits the video signal to the attached display (TV or Projector) and the audio signal to the speaker system if a Blu-ray player is connected to a receiver through HDMI (for both audio and video signals) (5.1 or 2.1).
