The Xgimi Elfin Mini is one of the smallest and lightest portable projectors in its brightness class, yet it’s also one of the most functional with to features like built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well as the ability to make the most of HDR content. The Xgimi Elfin Mini offers access to many apps and programmes thanks to the Android TV 10 operating system. This 1920×1080 resolution projector may not have ideal colour balance, but for the casual watching it is meant for, it should be just as good in the den at home as in the classroom or at the office.
The projector’s LED light engine can project over 700 lumens onto the screen, barely shy of the Elfin’s 800 lumen rating but more than sufficient for most usage, especially at night or with the shades drawn. Although it isn’t flexible enough to operate on battery power, the projector’s price seems reasonable considering how many personalities it has.
Our Verdict
The Elfin portable projector from XGIMI is portable and has a sleek design that makes it easy to carry. Although the XGIMI Elfin isn’t ideal, it provides good image quality, a portable design, and more for a great price.

Design
However, the Elfin’s ability to make things portable without sacrificing stability is one of the features I enjoy best. The major problem with smaller units is that they can wobble at the slightest bump or hit. The Elfin has a larger, flatter shape than most, allowing it to sit level on surfaces and completely removing the wobble problem. Additionally, it has three rubberized feet on the bottom to prevent slipping. Since I’ve been using this projector for a while, I’ve had no problems moving it.
The Xgimi Elfin’s outer shell has a matte texture that is smooth and easy to clean while also making dust less obvious. It is available in white, which I love because it not only fits in wonderfully in my apartment but also provides a welcome change from the majority of the products on the market that are painted black.
Picture Quality
Although this isn’t a 4K projector, it honestly feels a bit like one. I occasionally forget I’m watching things on a projector since the picture is so good. Yes, there are a few places where it might be improved, but overall, I was quite pleased with the image.
The Elfin provides an 800 ANSI lumen brightness and produces clear 1080p video. This is perfectly good for most folks. The image is clear and has enough brightness to illuminate a whole room. It only becomes a problem if you enlarge the image past 200 inches in an insane manner. Only in regions with exceptionally deep black levels did I notice the projector having trouble displaying the image. It was difficult to distinguish the backdrop star system when I was viewing a space-themed movie.

Conclusion
Elfin Mini is simple to use, lightweight, and tiny enough to put in a bag or handbag. More than that is impossible to ask for. On the other side, the absence of Netflix support is the only thing I can think of that would deter people from purchasing this. This is a nice enough projector for the majority of people if you want to use it at home, in the backyard, or even while travelling. And in certain circumstances, it’s a better option than the TV arrangement that the majority of people already have at home. The auto-keystone correction was the deciding factor for me. The fact that it functions so well is worth the admission fee by itself. In all honesty, I’m still amazed at how nicely it functions.
Simply awesome Projector cum android TV!
Overall Experience:
1080p has excellent focus and is very sharp. I can see in my living room in the daylight with 800 lumens, which is extremely bright. simple to set up Delivery happened sooner than anticipated. I got it the same day. Little bit louder fan, but not as disturbing.
