Oberon C Features
Wireless Hi-Fi
The OBERON C was designed with TV audio in mind. Despite its compact size, this wireless active on-wall speaker can compete with significantly larger speakers. With keyhole slots at the rear for portrait and landscape mounting, this low profile, rear reflex-loaded performer makes for simple integration into any room… without the wires.
Oversized Tweeter
The OBERON C series’ 514″ low loss woofer has been optimised with a new wood fibre constructed cone specialised to recreating the sensitive midrange and bass frequency areas. It is made of fine-grain paper pulp reinforced with wood fibres and has a robust yet lightweight structure. In addition, when paired with the low loss surround and spider suspension, the OBERON C woofer reproduces minute details unfiltered and with excellent precision.
Reducing Distortion
The use of SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) in the OBERON C greatly reduces mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents. The result is a magnet motor system with a drastic reduction in third-order distortion, which allows the OBERON C to deliver extended listening pleasure, a relaxed midrange and a surprising amount of detailing in its class.SMC-equipped drivers are also particularly well suited to speakers with active amplification, like the OBERON 1 C.
