Dali Kubik One Review – Soundbar

There are many soundbars on the market that aim to deliver great sound and fashionable looks. With the Dali Kubik One, their flagship all-in-one soundbar with a fashionable flair, Dali (Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries) is trying to change the fact that few succeed. Here is how it compares to the competition.

The Dali Kubik One soundbar is relatively tall, has a variety of colour options, and has a fashionable design that makes it stand out from the competition. Despite the expensive price, it lacks a dedicated subwoofer, surround sound, and even a single HDMI connector. Therefore, it has a lot to catch up to, especially in comparison to the best soundbars.

Our Verdict

3.0

With movies and music, DALI’s delectable soundbar performs to die for, and its sumptuous build quality and eye-catching appearance put the high price into perspective.

Pros

  • Stunning design and build quality
  • Natural, well-balanced and powerful sound
  • Equally talented with music and movies

Cons

  • No HDMI connections
  • Dreadful remote
  • Movies sound better with subwoofer

Design

Design

The Kubik One follows the tradition of soundbars; it has two parts that cover stereo sound, a bunch of inputs for connecting various items, and controls to optimise the sound. There is also a technique to keep the cabling organised; we really valued this. Nevertheless, it is a substantial piece of equipment, coming in at a heavy 9.6kg and measuring 126 x 980 x 102mm. Wall mounting appears to be the best choice because you can have difficulties positioning it in front of your TV, especially if your TV stand is fairly low to the ground.

Sound Quality

Sound Quality

The Kubik One has excellent audio quality, especially in the midrange frequencies. The language in The Revenant was realistic and compelling, and vocals sound upfront with no discernible dip in the lower- or upper-mids. The Kubik One shocked me because I don’t frequently find the replication of the mids to be impressive.

The mid-bass slam sounds amazing when the bass switch is set to Enhance. The rendition of bass is accurate, pristine, and controlled. The mid-bass shunt in The Weeknd’s I Feel It Coming is audibly noticeable when played loudly. That’s lost when the bass level is reduced to Neutral, a setting in which the sound appears to have lost all of its energy, while Bass Boost generates an excessive amount of mid-bass that takes away from the outstanding mid-range frequencies.

Conclusion

Kubik One is undoubtedly pricey, but the superb build quality, vibrant, modern design, and fantastic sound quality make the investment worthwhile. It is a flexible performer that adds shine to both music and movies, and thanks to its numerous connections, it is simple to access your music. Despite this, it’s difficult to imagine many “soundbars” that can rival it, particularly when it comes to music. Spend much more money and you still won’t have the same musical balance that the Kubik provides.

The perfect soundbar for your sony tv

    By Sonakshi bhatia

    Length of Use: 6–12 months

    Overall Experience:

This product blew me away with the quality, depth, and clarity of sound. It was incredibly easy to connect to my Sony Bravia T.V. with an optical lead, and bluetooth to my computer and iPhone was even easier. I decided to buy this one after selling my old Bose Lifestyle V-30 surround sound system, which had too many wires but had an amazing sound reproduction. In order to test the sound quality, I actually wanted to play every music I had purchased in the previous ten years! The metal remote control is tiny and constructed of.
